Time Thrift is a three-day art exhibition at Sheerly Touch-Ya Warehouse, a hosiery warehouse and distribution center in Glendale, Queens that also functions as an art fabrication and artist worker community.

Eight artists were invited to engage the material history of the Warehouse. The idea is to question the circulatory regime of the art system, allowing each artist’s work to be seized — thus, changed — by the socializing logic of being and working together. The works utilize surplus or extra material often left over from a manufacturing process, or at times another project. Attention is drawn to environmental, temporal, and social conditions that make such works possible. Time Thrift provides an opportunity and point of reference for such reflection.
